Solid Mechanics at Harvard University


Solid Mechanics is at the hub of Harvard University's educational and research activities in Engineering, Materials Science, Geophysics and of broad research programs in the applied sciences and technology. Members of the Solid Mechanics Group contribute to programs of the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences .

The Solid Mechanics computer system, a cluster of Sun workstations within the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, is called the esag cluster (esag = engineering sciences and geophysics).
